Ashanti & Keyshia Cole Verzuz Scheduled For Jan. 21st
Update #2 (Jan. 13th): The highly-anticipated Verzuz battle between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole is still a go. The ladies will now be facing off on Thursday, Jan. 21st after their Verzuz event was postponed twice because of COVID-19.

The new date comes after Verzuz announced the battles would no longer take place in person due to COVID-19 concerns.
Original Story (Jan. 8th): While fans were ready for the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole Verzuz to take place Saturday, Jan. 9th, the event has been pushed back again.
The announcement was made on Verzuz’s official Instagram account as it also revealed that artists will no longer be at the same location due to COVID-19.
Co-creator Swizz Beatz responded with several eye-rolling emojis.

The ladies were originally set to face off last month, but theJasmineBRAND broke the story that it would be postponed due to a COVID-19 related incident.

Ashanti later confirmed that she tested positive.

Fortunately, she announced earlier this week that she and her family are now negative.

She trended on Twitter Friday, Jan. 8th, as fans reacted to news of the Verzuz being pushed back for a second time.
