Loni Love Says She ‘Would Love’ If Keke Palmer & Raven Symone Joined ‘The Real’

Daytime talk show The Real has since its share of co-host shakeups recently. After the departures of Amanda Seales and Tamera Mowry-Housley, along with the recent addition of actress Garcelle Beauvais, Loni Love said she wouldn’t mind a few more changes.

One person she recommended is actress and singer Keke Palmer.

Loni Love told Entertainment Tonight,

“Keke is always working. That’s why we can’t get Keke. If we could ever lock her down… She’s that young, fresh, fierce, fearless girl that we really, really love. The viewers love when she comes on. I love when she comes on, too. Keke, when you get unemployed, call us.”

Keke Palmer is no stranger to daytime television. She had her own stint on BET as a talk show host for Just Keke in 2014. She also served as the third host of ABC’s Strahan, Sara, and Keke from August 2019 unit last fall.

Loni Love also said she wants to see Raven Symone on the show as a co-host, reuniting with her former Cheetah Girls groupmate Adrienne Bailon.

Loni Love added,

“Oh my gosh, two seasons ago we had Raven come on and it was just so magical seeing her and Adrienne. I would love that. She’s such a fearless person. Plus the Disney stories?! I would love it.”

Raven Symone recently spoke on the possibility of joining the show and said,

She said last year,

“There’s always conversations to be had. But I’m gonna stay true to what I’ve been setting goals towards during [the COVID-19 pandemic], and that’s to focus on my skills as a director and EP and a creator, and really take what I’ve learned in the industry and pass it along to people that are beginning.”

Raven Symone has also shared the daytime television screen during her days on The View. She was a co-host from 2015 to 2016.
