Donald Trump wants to give being president another whirl, and in a recent interview, he suggested that Meghan Markle is a suitable contender.
As previously reported, Meghan Markle exposed alleged racism in the royal family during her interview with Oprah Winfrey. Following the sit-down, there were reports that she wanted to enter the political arena, and could run for president in 2024. She is said to be working with Democrats to secure a nomination.
Donald Trump doesn’t seem to be threatened as he said he wants to go head-to-head with the former Suits actress.
He said on Fox News that while he’s “not a fan” of Meghan Markle, her campaign would make him want to run even more.
“Well, I hope that happens. If that happened, I think I’d have an even stronger feeling toward running. I’m not a fan of hers. I think that what she talks about the Royal Family– I happen to think, I know the Queen as you know, I’ve met with the Queen and I think the Queen is a tremendous person and I’m not a fan of Meghan.”
