Carmelo Anthony Allegedly Fathered Newborn Twins, Woman Claims + Says Babies Were Premature & He Abandoned Them

Has the reason behind Carmelo and Lala Anthony‘s recent divorce filing been revealed?

As previously reported, Lala Anthony filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years–Portland Trail Blazers star Carmelo Anthony–yesterday (Thursday, June 17th). According to reports, the divorce was an amicable decision, though details surrounding the filing were sparse. However, it’s worth noting that the couple initially split back in 2017 amid rumors that Carmelo Anthony cheated on Lala Anthony, ultimately fathering a child with another woman. Despite this, rumors swirled that they reconciled a year later.

Now, a woman has come forward with claims that she recently gave birth to premature twins fathered by Carmelo Anthony. Hollywood Unlocked revealed that the unnamed woman discovered her dual-pregnancy back in September. They initially agreed to terminate the pregnancy, but–because the NBA star allegedly never showed up to support her through the procedure–she did not go through with the abortion.

With the twins now being newborn infants, the woman alleges that Carmelo is expressing disinterest in stepping up for them. Additionally, according to screenshots provided to Hollywood Unlocked, at least one of the babies has health issues that required at least two surgeries so far. The woman allegedly told Carmelo:

“If I tell u one of our kids [has to] go to the hospital [you] should b a parent and pick up the phone and find out what’s going on. And I’m sure u don’t give a f**k.”

The woman also claimed Carmelo is disrespectful to her over financial matters, prompting her to proclaim she needs to file for child support.

Despite these claims, it is unclear whether the unnamed woman’s allegations are the reason behind Lala Anthony‘s recent divorce filing.

Neither Carmelo nor Lala Anthony has issued a public comment on the matter.
