T.I. & Tiny Harris’ Motion To Dismiss Defamation Lawsuit Denied By L.A. Judge
T.I and Tiny have lost a round in the legal battle with Sabrina Peterson.
On Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, an L.A. judge denied Clifford Joseph Harris, professionally known as T.I., 40, and his wife, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, 46, their motion to dismiss Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit against them.

T I., Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris –
According to reports, the hip-hop couple’s motion was denied by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Sotelo in the anti-SLAPP motion brought against them.
SLAPP, which stands for Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation, is a law to prevent people from using courts and threats of a lawsuit, to intimidate those exercising their First Amendment rights.

T.I., Sabrina Peterson
As previously reported, Peterson accused the Atlanta-born rapper of allegedly putting a gun to her head and threatening to kill her. Additionally, Sabrina Peterson shared the claims of over 30 women who allege they were drugged and forced into sex by the Harrises. They publicly accused her of lying, sparking the defamation action against them.
The judge found that Sabrina Peterson had shown ‘probability of prevailing’ on her claims against T.I. and Tiny, after both denied the allegations on Instagram. In court the judge said,
“Therefore, the only defamatory statements in contention here are the Harrises’ comments surrounding the accusation that Peterson was lying about the gun to the head threat.”
Along with the claims against the Harrises, Peterson was also able to prove invasion of privacy, intentional and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage, and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress claims against Shekinah Anderson.

Shekinah
As previously reported, Shekinah Anderson took to Instagram Live in January and accused Peterson of recruiting women for T.I. and Tiny and having a threesome with the couple.
On Shekinah Anderson’s role in the case the judge added,
“Here, Anderson attempted to discredit Peterson through salacious sexual allegations, which she had no basis.”
The ongoing legal battle between the former close friends has been going on since earlier this year, to which Peterson claims she has been harassed since.
Both T.I. and his wife Tiny, and Shekinah Jones Anderson, have denied all allegations.
