Chris Rock Uses Kyrie Irving As Punch Line In Anti-Vaxxers Joke: You Dumb, Kyrie Motherf******
Chris Rock is the latest celebrity to weigh in on Kyrie Irving’s controversial decision not to receive the COVID vaccine.
As previously reported, NBA player Kyrie Irving, 29, made headlines after news broke that he was indefinitely suspended from the Brooklyn Nets because of COVID vaccine regulations. Initially, due to New York’s vaccine mandate, it was reported that Kyrie Irving, who reportedly remains unvaccinated, would be unable to play home games. However, the Nets later announced that the seven-time All-Star guard would not play or practice with the team at all until he is eligible to be a full participant.

During a stand-up performance that took place at an NFT Week event in Brooklyn last night (Nov. 3), Chris Rock, 56, made it very evident that he disagrees with Kyrie Irving’s decision. While on stage he asked,
“Where’s my anti-vaxxers at?”
After a few cheers, he added,
“You dumb, Kyrie motherf******!!!”

Chris Rock isn’t the only celebrity who has seemingly called out Kyrie Irving. While chatting on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” tip-off show, Charles Barkley also shaded the professional athlete. He said,
“I really am proud of the Nets for putting their foot down — for saying ‘no, we’re not going to deal with this half on, half off [situation]. The only thing that bugs me is he’s still going to make $17 million [for] sitting at home.”
He added,
“People are saying he’s like Ali. First of all, don’t ever compare anyone to Ali. Ali went three years without boxing when he was the highest-paid athlete in the world.”
