La La Anthony Reveals She Wants Her Next Partner To Be Someone Who Is ‘Chill & Easy,’ Following Separation From Carmelo Anthony
La La Anthony may be ready to get back into the dating scene soon after filing for divorce from Carmelo Anthony, and she knows exactly what she’s looking for.
Entertainment journalist/actress La La Anthony, 39, is still hopeful that her perfect someone is out there. During a recent interview, she opened up about her love life and what she’s potentially looking for in someone she’s dating. The former TRL host shared that her dream suitor would be someone who is
“chill and easy because that is pretty much my personality.”

However, it’s important that anyone who tries to date La La Anthony knows they’ll have to impress her son, 14-year-old Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, as well. La La noted that her son is,
“too protective…nobody can come next to me when my son is around at all!”
She added that her top priority will always be making her son proud.
“Obviously, my son, Kiyan, is 14, in high school, he is my priority, but I’m really just about tapping into me and what do I like to do and what do I enjoy.”

When asked when will she start officially dating again La La replied,
“We’ll see what happens.”
As previously reported, La La and Lakers player Carmelo Anthony, 37, got engaged in 2004 and married in 2010. Kiyan is the only child the estranged couple has together. This past June, after 11 years of marriage, La La filed for divorce from Carmelo, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
