Stevie J Files To Divorce Faith Evans After 3 Years Of Marriage
Stevie J and Faith Evans have called it quits!
Yesterday (Monday, Nov. 8th), reports began circulating that Stevie J (real name Steven Aaron Jordan) had filed to divorce Faith Evans. The pair tied the knot back in 2018, and they dealt with a number of alleged marital issues throughout their union–including Faith Evans getting arrested for domestic violence against her husband last year.
Despite the recent divorce filing, Stevie J and Faith Evans both still follow each other on Instagram.
It’s also worth noting that, just a week ago, Faith Evans shared a post to commemorate Stevie J turning 50 years old.
This is Stevie J‘s first divorce, while it’s Faith Evans‘ second. The “Soon as I Get Home” singer was previously married to Biggie Smalls from 1994 to his 1997 death, and she was later married to Todd Russaw from 1998 to 2011.
While Stevie J had never been married before Faith Evans, his dramatic love triangle with Mimi Faust and Joseline Hernandez memorably played out on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. The record producer was with Mimi Faust from roughly 1997 to 2012, and his relationship with Joseline Hernandez ended for good back in 2016.
Neither Stevie J nor Faith Evans have publicly addressed the situation on social media. It’s also presently unclear if they have a prenup in place.
