Rihanna Surprises Homeless Vets In Los Angeles, Donates Clothes & Food
In the midst of her exciting pregnancy announcement, it looks like RiRi is still making time for those in need!
This past Sunday (Feb.6) Rihanna made a surprise visit to the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus to show support and spend time with homeless vets. Reportedly, the 33-year-old megastar arrived in a van loaded with sleeping bags, thermals, flashlights, bike locks and mini safes for the veterans battling homelessness. She spent time speaking with the vets, hearing their stories and taking pictures.
Activist Sennett Devermont took to Instagram to share photos of the event and thanked Rihanna for being so generous and kind. In a lengthy but informative caption, he wrote:
“Thank you @badgalriri for pulling up with all the love and support and most importantly your ears to listen to Veterans.”

Rihanna is no stranger to philanthropy and giving back. The “Love On The Brain” singer has her own non profit organization–the Clara Lionel Foundation–which funds climate resilience and justice projects in the U.S and Caribbean. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, RiRi’s foundation has donated $5 million to several organizations such as Direct Relief, Feeding America, and WHO in order to provide additional support and resources for on-the-ground partners and front line workers.
We love to see our celebs giving back! Go RiRi!
