Wendy Williams Reportedly “Getting Close Again” To Ex-Husband Kevin Hunter

In the wake of frozen bank accounts, declining health speculations, and a long-term break from her talk show, reports suggest that Wendy Williams is taking refuge in the arms of someone who’s been there for her, alleged cheating ex-husband Kevin Hunter.

Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams has been put through the ringer lately. Late last year the 57 year old TV personality took a break from her talk-show due to ongoing health issues and has yet to return. Since, there has been many reports speculating that the former radio host will never make a return to the show, that she is fighting declining health and dementia, and even had her bank accounts frozen by Wells Fargo.

Wendy is also facing a paparazzi defamation case and fighting off rumors from employees of The Wendy Williams Show that the show might be cancelled. While all this is going on her son Kevin Hunter Jr. has been a staple part of Wendy’s road to recovery, recently posting a video showing the TV star’s improving health and eagerness to get back to work.

However a report from Radar Online suggests that the loneliness of all she’s been through has Wendy seeking companionship from an unlikely but familiar source in ex-husband Kevin Hunter.

According to the article, an insider on the matter states:

“Wendy has no one in her life but Kevin. She never had close friends and hasn’t spoken with her staff in months. After her mom died, Wendy didn’t even have a family. All she has in Kevin and the son they share together.”

The source continues:

“Kevin is back in her life again out of necessity. He might not have treated her right in the past but when he was in her life none of this crazy stuff happened. He would never have allowed her bank to freeze her assets, and would have made sure Wendy went to work each day.”

The report also speculates that Kevin Hunter’s attorney Lashawn Thomas will be representing Wendy to straighten out her business affairs with Wells Fargo. Though Lashawn Thomas denies Kevin brought him into the situation stating:

“Kevin did not request that I represent Wendy. Whatever is going on with Wendy, I don’t disclose to him. I believe in protecting the attorney-client privilege.”

If you recall Wendy and Kevin were married for 21 years and he was her manager for a large portion of the time. The two split in 2019 after she claimed Kevin had an affair with a woman named Sharina Hudson and their love child played a role in her decision.
