Polo G Reveals That Prior To Shooting Music Video For ‘Heartless,’ He Almost Overdosed
There’s no surprise that drugs have a high influence on pop culture.
Chicago native Polo G, real name Taurus Tremani Bartlett, has been flourishing in his career as a rapper and singer with his melodic flow cultivating the sound of hip hop. On Thursday (March 31), Polo G, 23, stated on his Instagram account a moment in his career where he almost suffered from an overdose on pills. The type of pills taken by the rapper hasn’t been disclosed.
Polo G writes,
“Back story Fa Dat video I was Fresh out the hospital bed From almost overdosing Onnem pills I pop right back out & Shoot Dat Video now dat B-tch Platinum w 100ms By it”

The post comes after the Pop Out rapper took to his Instagram story to enjoy the moments leading up to his platinum single, Heartless, reaching 100 million views on YouTube. Within about two hours, the Heartless music video gained over 700 views. The milestone makes this Polo G’s fourth music video with over 100 million views on YouTube, including Rap Star, Finer Things and Pop Out.

Polo G was so excited about his accomplishment that he decided he was going to celebrate, stating
“YEAAAA IM GETTIN DRUNK TONIGHT”
It’s amazing that Polo G was able to recover and he appears to be doing well.
