Muni Long Reflects On Ghosting Drake Because of ‘Jealous’ Ex-Boyfriend: ‘I Wish I Had a Time Machine’

If there was ever a time for Muni Long to need a time machine, it’s now.

The “Hrs and Hrs” singer, who once performed under the alias Priscilla Renea, took to TikTok on Thursday, April 7, to preview new music and let the world know she once ghosted Drake (yes, Drake)—but it wasn’t exactly her fault.

Muni Long wrote,

“That one time in 2008 I missed out on a Drake feature because my bf at the vtime found out he was pulling up to the studio and flew into a jealous rage so I chickened out and quit responding to his texts.”

In her caption, she said,

“Muni Long is the part of me that I always needed. She’s the protector of Priscilla. I knew I wanted to focus on me. I’ve been serving others for the last 12 years, and I started to feel unappreciated and captive.”

Her track “Hrs and Hrs” landed her at the top of Billboard’s emerging artists chart. She also went from No. 3 to No. 1 on their R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, which was released on April 9.

The song was released in November 2021 and quickly became a smash with lover girls all around the world, especially on TikTok. It’s been utilized for a number of special moments, including date nights and marriage proposals.
