Track Star Sha’Carri Richardson Alludes That Her Ex Girlfriend Janeek Brown Abused Her, Brown Speaks Out Against The Allegations

Sha’Carri Richardson is standing firm on the allegations she made claiming that her ex abused her!

Sha’Carri Richardson is a prominent track star from Dallas, TX, most notably known for her colorful aesthetics and personality. She is also widely known for the controversy surrounding her absence from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics after she was disqualified for smoking weed. Recently, Sha’Carri Richardson, 22 took to social media alleging that her ex-girlfriend Janeek Brown was abusive during their 2-year relationship.

Janeek Brown, 24, is also a track star from Kingston, Jamaica. One of her most notable performances was in the 2019 NCAA championships where she won the 100-meter hurdles and set a new NCAA record. On May 17th, Sha’Carri shared via Instagram that she was abused by a “Jamaican athlete” who stole from her. She added that she was also subjected to homophobic behavior from the abuser’s family and native country.

In addition to IG, Sha’Carri took to Twitter in response to a comment made about the situation. She said,

“Because I was depressed my mother died and was getting beat & I still had to go out into the world …Now I have her strength. Good Morning, Be Blessed.”

Brown has recently taken to her own social accounts to deny Sha’Carri’s allegations. In a video posted on her Instagram, she alleged that everything being said about her by Richardson are “complete lies.” Brown then gave a warning to anyone who doubts her version of the ongoing drama and even seemingly directed a message to her ex. In Jamaican patois, she stated

“Don’t take mi bomboclaath kindness fi weakness”

She continued,

,“Pay mi fi mi bomboclaath ting if yuh ago tek it, give mi a likkle portion,”

She added,

“unnuh wah tek everything and lef man fi dead. Unnuh mean ee.”

She also reportedly called Sha’Carri a “chickenhead,” to which the track star responded via Twitter.

Richardson and Brown are no longer in a relationship and outside of the back-and-forth on social media, there’s nothing to suggest that they have made any other attempt to communicate with one another.
