Condolences: Baltimore Ravens’ Linebacker Jaylon Ferguson Dies At Age 26
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson has tragically passed away. The defensive end was 26 years old at the time of his death.
On June 22, the NFL team said in a statement early Wednesday morning on Twitter,
“We are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson. He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon.”

According to reports, Jaylon Ferguson was found unresponsive and police say “Ferguson never regained consciousness” and “was pronounced dead on the scene by medics.”
No cause of death was given, however, police say they do not suspect foul play at this time and there were no signs of trauma. According to Baltimore Police Dept., “investigators are not ruling out the possibility of an overdose.”
Jaylon Ferguson pursued college football at Louisiana Tech University before being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League in the 2019 NFL Draft.
