“suffered more than a black eye.”
The exact location of the attack is unclear, but Holder is supposed to be kept away from other inmates while being transported to and from the court.
A medical examiner was expected to testify Tuesday, to confirm that Hussle died after suffering at least ten gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
Holder is accused of murdering Nipsey Hussle, outside of his clothing store, The Marathon, on March 31, 2019. According to witness tetimony, Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, made a surprise visit to the store and was approached by Holder in a chance encounter.
The two, familiar with each other through the Rollin’ 60s gang, held a conversation in which Nipsey told Holder that there was a rumor circulation that he was working with law enforcement, or in other words “snitching” on someone. Holder then leaves the scene and re-appears to murder the philanthropist and recording artist.
Court is expected to resume on Wednesday, where Holder’s defense is expected to include two witnesses. Closing arguments are scheduled for Thursday.
Holder faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
