Kanye “Ye” West has been hit with yet another lawsuit within the past month!
Music mogul Kanye West allegedly has a debt that he must settle of over $7 million with a production company.
According to reports, Kanye West and his team have allegedly worked on various massive projects with production company Phantom Labs — who has now filed a lawsuit against the Chicago artist for unpaid concert costs.

The lawsuit states that Phantom Labs worked on projects with Kanye West between June 2021 to March 2022. The performance deals included 4 of his Sunday Service concerts, a listening event for “Donda 2,” the “Free Larry Hoover” benefit show with Drake, and pre-production for his canceled 2022 Coachella performance.

According to Phantom Lab’s attorney Howard King, the 45-year-old rapper and his team were initially good at making payments, but eventually promises became unfulfilled and the company was owed over $6 million by February 2022.
The lawsuit also claimed that Kanye had promised to settle his debt with Phantom using the reported $9 million he was supposed to make at Coachella, but he unexpectedly canceled his appearance two weeks before the festival. As a result, the production company was billed $1.1 million in cancellation fees by Coachella that they want the billionaire to cover, in addition to the $6 million tab Kanye allegedly has yet to pay.

Phantom Labs is reportedly suing Kanye for breach of contract and seeking the unpaid $7.1 million plus unspecified damages. The company also accuses Kanye and his team of stringing them along, summing up to the alleged millions of dollars in unpaid concert fees.

As previously reported, the hip-hop musician was hit with a lawsuit last month by publishing company Ultra International Music Publishing (UIMP). Kanye was sued for allegedly using a sample for his song “Flowers” on his latest studio album that was unauthorized. The track is featured on Kanye’s “Donda 2” project, released only via the Stem Player.
