Jenifer Lewis is always giving us gems, but she is not playing in a viral clip telling fans to vote!

Legendary actress Jenifer Lewis took time out during the dedication of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to speak to fans and give them some valuable gems. One of those being to get involved and vote.

A TikTok user posted a video of Jenifer speaking to a crowd of people, where she said:

“Vote! Don’t f**k up. They are taking your rights away as you sleep. Them motherf**kers don’t care about you. You understand me? And baby, they are coming.”

Jenifer added:

“Get your a** on that Internet and register to vote.”

“And call 20 f**king people. Are you listening to me? Don’t let me have lived my life in vain.”

Lewis has always been vocal on social issues, telling an interviewer that she would be up for planning a protest after the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade last month.

“I’m telling you right now what I’m gonna do. I am going to have a protest, I don’t care if it’s 500 or 1000 women, where we lay down on every freeway and block them all in every major city at rush hour. And there will be no [sex] that day. Shut it down.”

She also posted a video last month featuring Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish and herself singing about “fighting for their rights,” saying she didn’t do the video simply for the sake of it, but for Lizzo and Tiffany to spread the word to young people to make a change.
