Rapper Omeretta Shares Details Surrounding Her Relationship W/ Jailed Boyfriend: We Talk Everyday, He Gives Me Strength & Motivation

It appears Omeretta The Great will be off the market for quite a while despite her long-time boyfriend’s hefty prison sentence.

This week (August 1), rapper Omeretta The Great, born Amaria Williams, took to her IG stories to answer questions from her fans regarding anything. Prior to engaging with her followers and fans, the “Sorry Not Sorry” rapper, 25, shared a carousel of photos via her IG stories featuring her incarcerated boyfriend, Ta’Byron Smith.

When a social media user asked how Omeretta The Great handles being alone while her significant other is away, the rising Atlanta rapper responded and said she’s occupied with working. Omeretta responded to another user who inquired about whether or not her prison bae stays updated with the artist and her career. She shared:

“Yes he hear all my songs before they drop we talk everyday literally I go see him whenever I’m not busy or even if I am I make the time he right here every step of the way he give me strength and motivation this my twin fr”

According to reports, Ta’Byron Smith is currently locked up for robbing nine Asian-owned businesses throughout Georgia in October and November 2017. The U.S. Department of Justice shared that Ta’Byron Smith and his co-conspirator reportedly terrorized, threatened, and injured victims during their spree. He is serving a 27-year prison sentence.

As previously reported, earlier this year, Omeretta showed her fans a photo of the six tattoos of her boyfriend on numerous parts of her body. The rapper seemingly made it clear that she does not care what people may think of her decision and it appears she is staying by her prison bae’s side.
