Singer Jhene Aiko and rapper Big Sean revealed they’re expecting a baby boy! 

Hollywood couple Jhene Aiko and Big Sean will soon be the proud parents of a son. Jhene Aiko and Big Sean gave fans a treat when they shared their baby’s gender during a recent concert that took place over the weekend.

During the performance of their 2012 collaboration “I’m Gonna Be,” Big Sean cradles Aiko’s baby bump and tells the screaming crowd: 

“Make some noise for my baby boy!”

The couple, who have been together since 2016, also posted several moments from their NASA-themed baby shower held in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 16).

Aiko was stunning in a beige tulle dress with glimmering orbs and a star tiara while Big Sean donned a Burberry print shirt, later changing into full beige to match Aiko’s look. In the past, the rapper and R&B singer-songwriter have released joint projects as Twenty88. The duo’s debut album dropped on April 1, 2016, and Big Sean stated in 2020 that a sequel was in the works.

Fans of the Detroit rapper are well aware that the pair had previously suffered a miscarriage.

On his 2020 track “Deep Reverence” featuring the late Nipsey Hussle, Big Sean shared the couple’s experience in his lyrics:

“Should be a billionaire based on the time off I’m not taking/ Probably why the sh*t with me get crazy, and we lost a baby.”

The pair is understandably excited about their unborn child, and Big Sean confirmed his sentiments in a recent Instagram caption:

“The family is growing, we ready for you baby boy.”

Back in July, the pair announced the good news by posing nude in a majestic maternity photo shoot.

Family and friends joined the affectionate couple for a galactic-themed celebration on Sunday (October 16). This will be Big Sean’s first child and Aiko’s second. Among the attendees was Namiko, Aiko’s 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with O’Ryan Browner, whose brother is B2K frontman Omarion. Browner was also present, popping up in photos with both Aiko and Big Sean.
