Ice Cube Says He Lost $9 Million After Being Dropped From Film That Required COVID-19 Vaccine: F*ck Ya’ll For Trying To Make Me Get It
Rapper turned actor Ice Cube’s morals cost him a hefty bag!
The film star recently revealed that the 2021 movie project he parted ways with due to not wanting to take the COVID shot was a $9 million payout. O’Shea ‘Ice Cube‘ Jackson spoke about the situation during his recent interview on the “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast.

The “Are We There Yet” star told the podcast hosts:
“I turned down a movie because I didn’t want to get the motherf*cking jab….I turned down $9 million. I didn’t want get the jab. F*ck that jab. F*ck ya’ll for trying to make me get it.,”

He continued:
“So you know. I don’t know how Hollywood feels about me right now.”
Months before the Sony project, a movie called “Oh Hell No,” was set to begin production, news surfaced that Cube was no longer part of the film. Reportedly, production requested that all staff get the COVID vaccine, as they anticipated filming in Hawaii later that winter. The fall of 2021 was a critical time in regard to the coronavirus. Worldwide many individuals, especially the elderly and immunocompromised, died after contracting the disease.
Still, a number of celebs and everyday citizens were hesitant about the vaccine. Celebs such as Kyrie Irving, Nicki Minaj, and “Black Panther” star Letitia Wright are just a few big names who publicly spoke against vaccinations. Still, the U.S. and many other nations pushed for citizens to get vaccinated.

Continuing in the interview, Cube clarified that he actually didn’t refuse the role, but was dropped from the project. He stated:
“Those motherf*ckers didn’t give it to me because I wouldn’t get the shot. I didn’t turn it down. They just wouldn’t give it to me. The covid shot, the jab…I didn’t need it. I didn’t catch that sh*t at all. Nothing. F*ck them. I didn’t need that sh*t.”
