Tristan Thompson’s Mother Passes Away Suddenly From Heart Attack, Khloé Kardashian By His Side As He Mourns w/ Family In Toronto

Tristan Thompson‘s mother has reportedly passed away.

Andrea Thompson reportedly had a heart attack at home on Thursday (Jan. 5), and was transported to a nearby hospital where doctors tried to revive her, but she passed away.

The NBA free agent left Los Angeles as soon as he could on Thursday to be with his family in his native Toronto.

Tristan Thompson reportedly had Khloé Kardashian right by his side as he flew in a private jet to Canada.

According to a source,

“Khloe and Tristan traveled to Toronto because Tristan’s mother passed away.”

They added,

“A private funeral for his mother is scheduled that Khloe, Kim, and Kris are expected to attend.”

Khloé Kardashian was apparently “very close” to her children’s grandmother. Despite their turbulent relationship over the years, the Kardashian sister and Tristan Thompson have two children together — a daughter, True, and a son born via surrogacy in August. Tristan is also father to Prince, 6, and Theo, 1.

Andrea was right by the former couple’s side as they celebrated True‘s arrival in 2018 — and Khloé Kardashian will undoubtedly be there for her son in his time of need.
