Update: Offset Denies Getting Into Fight w/ Quavo Backstage At Grammys Over Takeoff Tribute

Update: (Feb. 6, 2023): Offset is setting the record straight on the latest rumors surrounding him and his estranged group member Quavo.

The rapper recently took to Twitter and shut down allegations that he and Quavo had a physical altercation this weekend at the Grammys. He tweeted,

“What tf look like fighting my brother yal n*ggas is crazy”

Original story: (Feb. 6, 2023): Unfortunately, there still seems to be some unresolved drama between Migos rappers Quavo and Offset.

According to reports, the two rappers got into a heated altercation backstage at this year’s Grammy Awards. Allegedly, the physical fight between Quavo and Offset, both 31, occurred right before Quavo took the stage to perform “Without You” as a tribute to the late Takeoff during the “In Memoriam” segment of the award ceremony. Insiders claim the fight escalated and the two men eventually had to be separated by bystanders.

Insiders also noted that Offset did not start the fight. Reportedly, the Grammys asked the “Clout” rapper to join his estranged group member on stage to be a part of the tribute. However, Quavo refused to let him take part in the moving moment and allegedly blocked Offset from walking on stage, which led to the altercation.

As you may recall, at the time of Takeoff’s untimely death, the Migos were going through a rough patch. Quavo and Takeoff were still very close, however, Offset was seemingly feuding with the uncle-nephew-duo. It’s unclear why the rappers fell out, however, previous rumors did surface that Offset, who is married to Cardi B, 30, had a sexual relationship with Quavo’s ex-girlfriend Saweetie, 29.

As previously reported, On November 1, 2022, Takeoff, born Kirsnick Ball, was fatally shot at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. The rapper’s suspected killer, Patric Xavier Clarke, has been arrested and is awaiting trial.
