Offset & Quavo Seemingly React To Social Media Bringing Up Takeoff In The Midst Of Break-Up Drama w/ Cardi B: ‘Nephew Ain’t Wit The Soap Opera’
The former members of Migos are shutting down all online chatter mentioning their late group member Takeoff.
Both Offset and Quavo took to social media recently, seemingly addressing those speaking on their family member amid the recent breakup of Offset and Cardi B.

It seems that Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, 32, first spoke about the situation yesterday (December 16th). The “Clout” artist claimed internet users have been “wishing death” on Takeoff and urged them to layoff, writing to his X account:
“Fan wishing death on takeoff is crazy yal lil a** better chill”

“Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother, and would like for his name to not be brought up”

Quavo, real name Quavious Marshall, 32, also took to X, seemingly attempting to curb people bringing up his late nephew. He wrote:
“nephew ain’t wit the soap opera LONG LIVE Rocket pray for y’all tho.”

Both remarks come on the heels of Offset and his wife Cardi B’s recent public and explosive split from one another. As we’ve been covering, the “Bongos” artist has been hinting that there were problems in her marriage in the past few weeks, and recently confirmed that she’s been separated from her husband of five years for some time now. Fans of the Grammy award winner began to attack Offset and anything he’s associated with, however, after she recently went live in an emotional rant, accusing him of “playing” in her face. She stated:
“A mother f*cker will play in your f*cking face…over and over and over and over again…this mother f*cker really like to play games with me when I’m at my most vulnerable time, when I’m not the most confident…I really been sparing you,”

She continued:
“You been f*cking feeling yourself, you b*tch-a** n*gga, cause of your b*tch-a** album…you really been f*cking doing me dirty after so many f*cking years I been mother f*cking helping your a**!”
According to Offset, it seems some of Cardi’s fans opted to speak on Takeoff’s death in attempt to wound him. If you recall, the third Migos member, real name Kirsnick Khari Ball, was tragically killed in a shooting while visiting Houston, Texas last year. He was only 28-year-old at his time of passing.
Reacting to the situation, some social media users condemned those who may be using Takeoff’s murder as a weapon against Offset. Others accused the rapper of fabricating the situation to take the negative attention away from himself amid cheating accusations.

It does not seem that Offset nor Quavo have made any further remarks about the situation at this time.
