‘Married To Medicine’ Star Quad Webb Says She Is ‘Disgusted’ By Dr. Simone Whitmore Bringing Up Her Niece’s Drowning During Reunion Special: ‘I Can’t Believe Production Let This Fly’

Quad Webb, a cast member on the long-running reality series ‘Married to Medicine,’ put the Bravo network on blast. 

On Sunday (March 3), the reality TV series aired part 1 of its reunion special. During the segment, the cast sat down with talk show host Andy Cohen, discussed their grievances, and attempted to mend their relationships. 

One of the cast members, Dr. Simone Whitmore, brought up Quad Webb’s 3-year-old niece, Aryanna “Ari” Rice, who drowned last year in the former medical sales representative’s pool.

Dr. Simone Whitmore’s apparent reasoning behind her mentioning the niece was to prove she tried to be there for Quad Webb, despite where they currently stood. The obstetrician-gynecologist expressed, 

“I reached out to her because no matter what we are going through, if you have something that catastrophic happen, I’m gonna reach out. We will be here for you because friendship is not about this platform. It is about our real lives. I tried to be there for Quad.”

During the special, Webb sobbed profusely as Dr. Simone Whitmore talked about her niece. She even attempted to stop Dr. Simone from bringing it up, but it didn’t work. Phaedra Parks also tried to console Webb, but she continued to cry.

On Sunday (March 3), Webb posted about the incident on X. She said, 

“Just insensitive I would never use anyone’s family’s hurt & pain as a source of entertainment . My family and I struggle on the daily. I am heartbroken & disgusted. I can’t believe production let this fly #married2med”

Then today (March 4), she reacted to a clip of the interaction from the reunion special between her and Dr. Simone. Webb wrote, 

“Where is the humanity I’m a real person with a family that’s in pain and we’re struggling everyday trying to heal #Married2Med”

In the comments, ‘Married to Medicine’ season 10 fans slammed Dr. Simone for ignoring Webb’s request for her to stop talking about the tragedy.
