Professional Boxer Ryan Garcia Claims To ‘Identify As A Woman’ In Post Accusing Opponent Devin Haney Of A ‘Hate Crime’ For Shoving During Heated Staredown
Boxer Ryan Garcia’s latest posts have many wondering if he’s trolling or calling for help.
As recently reported, the 25-year-old is set to face off against Devin Haney in the highly-anticipated WBC super lightweight championship on Saturday (Apr. 20). Today (Apr. 16) the athletes met for a staredown on top of the Empire State Building, and things got tense, to say the least. Devin Haney, 25, and Ryan Garcia stood close to each other as they exchanged insults while photographers and press captured the heated moment. The verbal dispute quickly turned physical, with Devin Haney shoving Ryan Garcia out of his personal bubble.

Garcia seemed unfazed by the interaction and still fired off a few verbal jabs before eventually turning to walk away. However, he then took to his X account to address the situation. Garcia’s first post amid his rant said,
“I ate that weak *ss push”

He continued, with the posts becoming a little more interesting,
“Bro I thought he was going in for a kiss no cap
Diddy got him good
Devin whispered in my ear saying “come” do me like diddy DADDY
Pretty weird”

Garcia then said he plans to take legal action because Haney is a “grown man” and he identifies “as a woman.” It’s important to note that despite some being concerned for Garcia over the posts, many have deemed his remarks as trolling.

You may recall that some fans of Garcia have been calling for his team to pull him from the fight due to his strange behavior as of late. In March he made headlines for breaking down in tears while on TikTok live. He also claimed not too long ago to know “who killed Tupac.” In addition, he threatened to sue the New York State Athletic Commission for asking him to take a mental health evaluation.
