Morgan Freeman Is ‘A Big Fan’ Of Elon Musk, Praises The Tesla Founder’s ‘Incredibly Forward Thinking’: ‘What He’s Done, Nobody Else Has Ever Done’

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is giving his vote of support to billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

The movie star sang the Tesla founder’s praises recently, sharing that he’s been impressed by Elon Musk’s ideas and his preparation for settlement on Mars.

During a recent interview, Morgan Freeman said of Elon Musk:

“I’m a huge fan of Elon Musk’s…I think he’s got the most incredibly forward thinking ideas about where we can go technologically.”

He continued:

“What he’s done, nobody else has ever done. He’s landed a rocket ship so it’s reusable, do you know what a feat that is? Now we’re taking off, we’re going to be going to Mars delivering stuff to people who are going to be settling there, just like they settled the Old West, and bringing those ships back and landing them and reloading them.”

As Morgan Freeman mentioned, Musk has certainly made quite impressive achievements in his efforts to explore Mars and begin building a human settlement through his space exploration company Space X. In case you’re unfamiliar, the organization has successfully launched several rockets to Mars and stated its mission is to colonize the planet with its Starship launch vehicle. It maintains the stance that its research is necessary for the long-term survival of the human species.

It seems Musk is also a fan of the actor. Reacting to Freeman’s compliments, he reposted the interview to his X account (formerly Twitter), writing the caption:

“Morgan Freeman is awesome”

Freeman also trended on the social media platform as people reacted to his thoughts about Musk’s ambitious space endeavors. Some feel disappointed that Freeman publicly supports Musk while others share the entertainer’s admiration.
