Britney Spears Has Yet To Report Stolen Jewelry To Police
Looks like Britney Spears has decided not to involve authorities in the search for her missing jewelry.
On Sunday (May 26), Britney Spears shared with her 42.2 million Instagram followers that her jewelry was stolen. In a video opening the drawers of an almost empty jewelry case, she said,
“I’ll show you guys for real, all my jewelry was stolen. See, there’s nothing. Well, there’s a Mother Mary. … I’m scared. It’s all gone. All my jewelry is gone.”
She captioned the short clip,
“So you can see for real all my jewelry was stolen … it’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing. So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me … and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin”

Britney Spears is the latest celebrity to have their belongings stolen. However, unlike her famous counterparts, it seems the “Toxic” singer has decided not to seek help from the police to track down her missing items. Reports from several publications claim the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was not contacted by Spears (or her team) to file a report.
A spokesperson for the department said,
“We haven’t received any calls for service regarding any reports of theft from Spears’ residence.”
Spears hasn’t said more about the alleged robbery, but she has since posted more content to IG, seemingly alluding that the incident won’t keep her down.
