On Tuesday (June 18) reggaeton star Don Omar gave an update on his health and let fans know he’s now “cancer free.” The big news came just one day after the “Dile” artist revealed his diagnosis. In the caption sharing an update, he also noted that he had a successful surgery and is focused on recovering. The short statement translates to,
“I woke up today cancer free and grateful. Thank you for your good wishes, prayers and thousands of messages. My surgery was a success now to recover”
Details on what type of cancer Don Omar battled, or when he was officially diagnosed, have yet to be revealed.

The reggaeton star, born William Omar Landrón Rivera, revealed to his millions of Instagram followers that he is unfortunately battling cancer. Under an image of himself rocking a hospital wristband, Don Omar wrote a caption that translates to,
