Amber Rose Says ‘Media Lied’ About Donald Trump, Says The Former President Isn’t Racist After ‘Doing Research’
Amber Rose asserts that after conducting thorough research, she concluded that Donald Trump and his ‘red hat-wearing’ supporters are not racists.
The 40-year-old model and TV personality attended the Republican National Convention to deliver a speech, explaining to the American people why she supports the former president in the upcoming 2024 election.

While elaborating on how her views on Donald Trump evolved, Amber Rose claimed that the media ‘lied’ and that left-wing propaganda has perpetuated the narrative that Donald Trump is a racist.
Amber Rose stated,
“I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies. So, I’m here to set the record straight.”
She went on to recall that the first Trump supporter she knew was her father, saying,
“The first person I knew who supported Donald Trump was my father. I was shocked. My entire family is racially diverse, and I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist. My father said, ‘No, he’s not, Amber. What are you talking about?’ And when I insisted, he said, ‘Prove it.’ So, to prove my father wrong, I did my research and looked into all things Donald Trump. People have to do their research. I watched all the rallies, and I started meeting so many of you, his red hat-wearing supporters. I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, straight, or gay… It’s all love.”
Amber concluded,
“And that’s when it hit me: these are my people… this is where I belong.”

This follows significant backlash after Amber Rose posted her support for the former president on social media.

Many criticized her stance, pointing to her advocacy for women’s rights in light of Trump being held liable for sexual assault and taking credit for the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
Additionally, with Donald Trump’s past racial controversies—including being sued for discriminating against Black people in the 70s, allegedly calling a contestant on The Apprentice the n-word, and referring to white supremacists as “fine people”—Amber Rose’s critics are left even more confused.

One X user commented,
“Amber Rose did all that work around women’s rights only to be calling the party responsible for stripping away women’s rights her home. Not to mention their presidential candidate is a whole rapist. What a joke of a person.”

Another X user wrote,
“When Amber Rose did her research, did she see the Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville that Trump said were ‘very fine people’?”
