Letoya Luckett Marries Taleo Coles In Private Houston Ceremony

Former Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett is a married woman!

Essence broke the news this morning (Aug. 1) with a profile piece on the “Used To” singer’s special day. Letoya Luckett married her now-husband Taleo Coles in a private ceremony at the Le Tesserae in her hometown, Houston, TX. According to the report, the love birds shared a mutual friend for two decades. However, it wasn’t until 2022, following Letoya Luckett’s divorce from Tommicus Walker, that they met.

Luckett shared that she went to God in prayer, asking for freedom from her past drama and a heart that’s ready to love again. It seems that her prayers were definitely answered! Soon after, Taleo Coles came into her life and proved he wasn’t going anywhere. As their relationship became more serious he even moved from Raleigh, North Carolina to Houston to be with Luckett and her two children.

The ceremony, initially meant to be small with 70 people but grew to roughly 200 guests by the wedding day, was filled with many celebrities. Some of the attendees were Ms. Tina Knowles, former DC member LaTavia Roberson, Toya Wright-Rushing, and Bun B.
