Jake Paul Says Mike Tyson Is ‘Doing Great’ After Boxing Match Was Rescheduled Over A Health Scare: Can’t Wait To ‘Beat The Legend’
Mike Tyson is better and ready to step into the boxing ring, well, at least according to his opponent Jake Paul.
Legendary boxer Mike Tyson, 58, is set to take on influencer/rising boxer Jake Paul, 27, in a highly anticipated match on November 15. They were initially scheduled to face off on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. However, plans changed after Mike Tyson required medical intervention on a flight in May. A rep for the athlete later revealed that the scary health incident was due to Tyson having an ulcer flare-up amid his travels.

Jake Paul sat for a newly published interview with TMZ and gave an update on the upcoming boxing event and Tyson’s health. When asked if there’s a backup opponent just in case Tyson isn’t ready by November, Paul said,
“I don’t have [any] concern. He’s doing great. He’s super healthy behind the scenes and feeling great. There’s not a backup, currently.”
Speaking on how he feels going up against Tyson, Paul expressed,
“It’s very surreal and it’s an honor. I look up to Mike, he’s such a legend and it’s just so cool to be able to be in the ring with him. It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to put on a good performance and beat the legend.”
