LA Lakers Postpone Game Amid California Wildfires

Lakers fans will have to wait a little longer for the team’s home game against the Hornets, as it has been postponed due to the ongoing wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.

The team posted on social media:

“We’re heartbroken for Los Angeles. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this unimaginable situation. And our gratitude is with the first responders and all of you who come together when we need each other the most. Tonight’s game will be rescheduled to focus on what matters most today. We’re with you, L.A.”

Fans holding tickets for tonight’s game are advised to keep them, as they will be honored when the game is rescheduled.

This is the second major event in Los Angeles to be postponed due to the fires, following the Kings-Flames game at Crypto.com Arena.
