Will Smith To Present At The Grammys, His First Major Awards Show Appearance Since The Chris Rock Slap
Will Smith is stepping back into the awards show spotlight.
The Recording Academy confirmed Friday (Jan. 31) that Smith will present at the 2025 Grammys this Sunday (Feb. 2) at Crypto.com Arena. While he’s appeared at smaller events, this marks his first major awards show appearance since the infamous 2022 Oscars slap, where he struck Chris Rock over a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head—a moment that earned him a 10-year ban from the Oscars.
