Travis Kelce Says Trump Attending The Super Bowl Is ‘A Great Honor’
Looks like the Kansas City Chiefs are elated by news of President Donald Trump attending the upcoming Super Bowl to watch them play.
When asked about reports of Trump’s attendance during a recent interview with PEOPLE, Chiefs star Travis Kelce expressed his excitement, stating:
“That’s awesome. It’s a great honor… no matter who the president is.”
He added:
“I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life… And having the president there, in the best country in the world, you know, would be pretty cool.”

Kelce’s superstar teammate Patrick Mahomes shared similar sentiments, saying in a separate interview:
“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president… Someone that is at the top position in our country.”
According to The Associated Press, the Secret Service confirmed via a statement on Tuesday (Feb. 4) that they have already begun preparations for Trump’s visit to New Orleans for Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 9).
Trump will be the first sitting president to ever attend the biggest night in football, where the Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. ?
