UPDATE: Shannon Sharpe’s Attorney Releases Alleged Texts From His R@pe Accuser: ‘I Want You To Put A Dog Collar Around My Neck & Choke Me w/ It’
Update: Shannon Sharpe is firing back at the $50 million s*xual a$$ault lawsuit filed by Gabriella Zuniga, calling it a “blatant and cynical attempt to shake down Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars,” according to a new statement from his attorney, Lanny J. Davis.
Shannon Sharpe’s legal team claims Zuniga secretly recorded a consensual s*xual encounter and is now using an “edited” version of the video to falsely accuse him of misconduct.
To push back on the claims, his team released what they describe as “graphic, s*xual communications initiated by Ms. Zuniga,” arguing the relationship was consensual.
In conclusion, Shannon Sharpe’s team denies all allegations of coercion or misconduct and says he will not submit to what they call a blackmail attempt.

Original Story: Shannon Sharpe is being sued in Nevada by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who accuses the former NFL star of r@ping her twice during their year-long relationship.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the woman claims Sharpe first r@ped her in October 2024 while she was “crying and sobbing,” and again in January 2025 after he showed up with promises of birthday and Christmas gifts. She’s seeking $50 million in damages.

Doe says they met in 2023 when she was 20, and that the relationship quickly became controlling and ab*sive. She alleges Sharpe once told her he’d “buy her fake t**s” if she won a weight-loss competition and demanded she be at his mansion “at his command.”
She also claims he once grabbed her by the neck and threatened, “If you ever do that again, I will f***ing kill you,” after catching her trying to share her location with friends during an argument.
Sharpe has not responded publicly to the claims.
