Stephen A. Smith Defends Shannon Sharpe Amid A$$ault Lawsuit, But Admits Evidence In The Case Is ‘Uncomfortable’
Stephen A. Smith recently spoke out in support of Shannon Sharpe amid his current legal situation.
Stephen A. Smith made it clear on his show that he does not believe Shannon Sharpe would ever physically harm a woman.
“The brother that I’ve come to know, I don’t believe would a$$ault, r*pe anybody,” he stated.
He also shared insight into how Disney, which owns ESPN, is handling the matter. According to Stephen A. Smith, the company is allowing due process to play out.
“ESPN and Disney have a ‘wait-and-see’ attitude when it comes to whatever evidence they may learn about this entire situation,” he explained, adding that the facts in the case are “uncomfortable.”
