Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo Calls Out Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton’s Dad For Being ‘Disrespectful’ After On-Court Heated Exchange

Giannis Antetokounmpo says things got disrespectful after the Pacers eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs Tuesday night (Apr. 29).

Giannis Antetokounmpo shared with reporters after the exchange that Tyrese Haliburton’s dad came onto the court after the game, waving his son’s towel in his face and shouting, “This is what we F’ing do. This the F we do.”Giannis Antetokounmpo felt it was completely out of line, saying,

“I think that’s very, very disrespectful… coming to me and disrespecting me and cursing at me I think is totally unacceptable, totally unacceptable.”

Giannis doubled down on his thoughts about humility, adding,

“I believe in being humble in victory. That’s the way I am… I’ve won the championship. They haven’t.”

Despite the tension, he ended on a positive note, sharing that he thought he and Haliburton’s dad were “in a good place” after clearing the air.
