Charles Barkley Roasts Fraternity Members On Live TV: ‘A Bunch Of Damn Loser Dudes’*
Charles Barkley stirred up controversy Thursday night on “Inside the NBA” with a sharp takedown of fraternity culture.
“I don’t want to be in no fraternity,” he said bluntly. “A bunch of damn loser dudes getting together all the time.”
When co-host Kenny Smith defended Greek life by pointing to its community efforts, Barkley dismissed it:
“Knock it off. If they were that good, you’d join.”

Smith claimed he didn’t have time in college, prompting Barkley to jab,
“You were busy. Yeah, only losers join fraternities.”
Even Shaquille O’Neal and Smith’s mention of Michael Jordan’s frat ties didn’t sway him.
“Michael ain’t wasting his time with no fraternity,” Barkley said. “He might be, but he ain’t doing nothing with them bums.”
The heated moment turned hilarious when Smith joked Barkley lacked the GPA to pledge. Barkley fired back:
“I did. I averaged 20 points and 20 rebounds. That’s my grade point average.”
Y’all agree with Charles?
