Lamar Odom Reportedly Eyeing College Basketball Coaching Job
“Coach Odom” has a nice ring to it.
#LamarOdom is eyeing a return to the basketball world in a new way, as the former NBA star has been meeting with several college programs to discuss potential coaching opportunities. Sources tell TMZ that Odom has been traveling and sitting down with athletic departments and basketball staff, pitching himself as someone who can help develop young players and bring back elements of the legendary Triangle Offense he learned while playing under coach Phil Jackson.
According to those close to the situation, Odom believes his experience and knowledge of the game could benefit the next generation of athletes, and he’s eager to land a role where he can start training and mentoring future stars.
