Are you celebrating Kwanzaa this year? In case you are, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have released a statement, sharing well wishes to those who celebrate the holiday. [FYI: the celebration honors African heritage in African-American culture, and is observed from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a feast and gift-giving.] See the first family’s message below.
