Here’s the backstory: In 2014, Williams was sued by five men who claimed he owed them more than $125,000 for their work on his 2012-13 Live Nation tour. Cortney Gilmore et al. sued Williams and Live Nation Entertainment, in superior court, alleging promissory fraud, breach of contract and unjust enrichment. Gilmore claimed the defendants owe him $80,000 for his work as emcee on the tour.
Evan Gunny claimed they owe him $14,000 for his work as a DJ. Michael McGuire claimed they owe him $10,000 for his work as a security guard. Michael Bogan claimed they owe him $10,500 for his work as a security guard. And Christopher Blanton claimed they owe him $12,000 for his work as a security guard. The men were represented by John Holcomb Jr., with Kramer, Holcomb & Sheik.
The status of the others suing Williams has been released. Williams has been sued repeatedly in recent years, several times for odd, sometimes violent behavior.
