John Singleton’s Family Suspicious About His Death, Director Allegedly Showed Up To Hospital By Himself Disoriented In A Wheelchair
Famed director John Singleton passed away more than a month ago. But it seems his family still has more questions than answers when it comes to his death. So much so, that they hired a private investigator. While it’s known that Singleton died roughly two weeks after suffering a massive stroke, what occurred before his stroke actually happened is what the mothers of his seven children hope to find out. According to reports, Singleton had just returned from a trip to Costa Rica before he had the fatal stroke. But what happened between his arrival back in the states and the stroke is still unaccounted for. It’s not clear how he even got tot he hospital. He checked himself in, but he didn’t drive himself. None of his friends and family is saying they actually took him. On top of that, there aren’t any Uber or Lyft receipts to prove he used a ride-sharing service.

The suspicions don’t end there. Insiders at the hospital allege that Singleton seemed to show up out of nowhere. He was said to be disoriented and already in a wheelchair. He checked himself in and said he was suffering pains in legs. He passed away on April 28 after being in a coma for roughly two weeks. He was 51-years-old.
The mothers of his children are the ones who hired the private investigator, hoping to find out what Singleton was up to, who he was talking to, and if someone was aware of his current condition and possibly had the chance to help him sooner.
The family drama has already made headlines as his mother, Sheila Ward, attempted to gain control of his estate just this week. She filed documents with claims someone stole items from his office, which was locked. She said she’s afraid more of his treasured items could be taken.
