Offset Is ‘Fake Smiling’ While Trying To Keep His ‘Head Up’ Following Takeoff’s Untimely Death: Sh*t Not Easy
Migos member Offset is having a hard time dealing with the tragic passing of his fellow groupmate, Takeoff.
On Wednesday (Dec. 21), Offset took to his Twitter account to briefly vent about how difficult the process of grief has been for him amid his fight to keep trucking through the agony day to day.

With a photo of Takeoff attached, he emotionally wrote,
“Sh*t not easy fake smiling and sh*t tryna keep walking with my head up.”

The statement follows two prior tweets that he made earlier this month, expressing that he isn’t in the best mental headspace since the unfortunate occurrence.
Offset shared,
“I miss you bra tryna push through the pain.”
He added:
“In a dark place.”

As you may know, on Nov. 1, 28-year-old Takeoff was fatally shot outside of a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. The shooting reportedly followed a disagreement that erupted over a game of dice.
One month after his demise, alleged suspect Patrick Xavier Clark was taken into police custody. Surveillance footage from the early morning of the tragic event showed the supposed killer holding a wine bottle in one hand while firing a gun in the other. The container was discovered at the scene with Patrick Xavier Clark’s fingerprints left behind to be identified.
Upon his arrest, Patrick Xavier Clark later filed a motion to have his bail reduced from $2 million to $100k and requested funds from the judge for a private investigator.

According to reports, District Judge Josh Hill believed that Clark was possibly intending to flee the country, as it was unveiled that he was making Google searches for fake plane tickets from his cell phone. Clark was granted the money for the private investigator, and if additional security requirements could be met, his payout may be lowered.
Takeoff was one-third of the uber-successful rap trio Migos. Along with the late lyricist, the collective consisted of his uncle, Quavo, and cousin, Offset. The men are most known for rising to stardom in the 2010s and making a huge impact on the culture of Southern trap music.
