Filmmaker Jordan Peele Reportedly Working On Releasing His Fourth Movie Next Christmas

Writer/director Jordan Peele is gearing up for an all-new theater hit!

According to reports, Jordan Peele’s forthcoming blockbuster is on the way, but (unfortunately) it looks like we’ll be anticipating the release for quite some time.

Just months after the uber-successful unveiling of his neo-Western horror ‘Nope,’ Jordan Peele is reportedly administering an “Untitled Fourth Film,” which will make its nationwide debut on December 25, 2024.

While the title or genre is currently unknown, we do know that the project is in conjunction with Universal Pictures, who’s also responsible for his 2017 psychological thriller ‘Get Out.’ Many can assume that the to-come endeavor will be in relation to the 44-year-old’s beloved movie-making style that we’ve all grown to admire throughout the years.

The commercial glory from the Oscar-nominated ‘Get Out,’ starring British actor Daniel Kaluuya, ultimately landed Peele’s directorial debut at over $200 million at the box office.

The numbers from Peele’s 2019 sophomore work, ‘Us,‘ did just a notch more, coming in at $256.1 million. ‘Black Panther’ phenomenons Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke led the highly-talked-about cinema.

The New York City native reached yet another milestone last year, with the July premiere of ‘Nope’ (starring Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer) marking his third feature flick to hit $100 million in domestic revenue. Peele’s accomplishment happened merely three weeks after ‘Nope”s opening night. The current (worldwide) tally is $171.2 million.

However, while ‘Nope’ did fairly well, there were mixed reviews, as its praise didn’t seem to surpass the hype for Peele’s previous Hollywood heavy-hitters.

Upon the recent news of the filmmaker’s upcoming venture, a viewer tweeted,

“I hope the next Jordan Peele movie is better than NOPE.”

Another user added:

“Very interested to see [what] the plot of Jordan Peele’s next movie is, especially since all of his plots are so unique. I also want to see if he tops NOPE somehow.”

Produced under his and Ian Cooper’s company, Monkeypaw Productions, ‘Nope’ centered two “horse-wrangling siblings” and their mission to discover the mystery behind a scientific object above their ranch.

Additionally, Monkeypaw Productions has another thriller slated for September 27, 2024, preceding the fellow to-be-titled big screener.
