‘The Wire’ Actor Tray Chaney Calls On HBO To Help Take His Reunion Series To The Next Level: ‘The Supporters, They Want This’
The Wire may have ended in 2008, but the stories surrounding the series are far from over.
In a recent post, actor Tray Chaney, who portrayed Malik “Poot” Carr in the popular crime drama, shined a light on the hard work he’s put into his follow-up interview series, The Wire Reunion Live From The Pit, while calling on HBO to help him give the fans what they want.

Breaking down the goal of his work, he explained,
“My Goal is to Interview every cast member live from the trenches of Baltimore in “The Pit” on the orange couch that ever played a role. Numbers don’t lie & the people, the fans, the supporters they want this. Millions of views from the clips between my Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Speaks For Itself.”
The Wire premiered in June 2002 and went on to air 60 episodes over five seasons. Many beloved actors rounded out the cast, including the late Michael K. Williams.
