Kevin Hart Denies Negative Black Woman Cartoon, Threatens Lawsuit

A report was recently released by NewsOne, claiming that 33-year-old comedic actor, Kevin Hart, drew a cartoon that was offensive to many Black women. The cartoon, pictured below, shows three Black women (looking a hot ass mess) turning down a Black man for being a geek. Then, when a white woman dates him, those same Black women call him a sellout. The stereotypical drawing was titled “Being a ‘Strong Black Woman’ Does Not Mean Have An Attitude.”

When the cartoon hit, Kevin started to receive backlash, so he hopped on twitter to assert that he had absolutely nothing to do with the drawing, and even announced that if the drawing is not removed immediately, he will be taking legal action to punish whoever linked his name to the project.

Our question is, was the cartoon REALLY that offensive?
