TV Hustle :: Vanessa Williams Snags Sweet ABC Deal

ABC Network and Vanessa Williams have worked together for a number of years. The talented actress starred in two of the network’s hit dramas for four and six consecutive seasons respectively: “Ugly Betty” and “Desperate Housewives”. And now that “Desperate Housewives” is in it’s last season and “Ugly Betty” has ended, ABC has signed a talent holding agreement with Williams to keep her around as an actress for the network.
Currently, ABC is looking to cast Williams as the headline in either an hour long or half-hour long sitcom due to be a part of next Fall’s prime time lineup. So far, she is the first of her “Desperate Housewives” cast mates to land a potential series. Can’t wait to tune in!
