Details on Snagging Inauguration 2013 Tickets for Obama’s Re-Election
Party, anyone? The inauguration ceremony for President Barack Obama will take place on January 21st, 2013 in Washington D.C. With 332 electoral votes to Mitt Romney’s 206, President Obama defeated his running mate, winning his second term in office, causing for political types to celebrate even harder this go ’round. The event will include the swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural address, the parade, and 11 official balls. As a backstory, The inauguration for President Obama’s first presidency in 2009 made record-breaking attendance numbers and was among the most observed events ever on a global level. That ceremony was attended by major celebs, including Beyonce (who performed at the inaugural ball), Oprah Winfrey, and Denzel Washington. No word yet on what big names will be in attendance next year, but we will keep you updated.

Tickets for the event are in high demand, and nearby hotels are already booked up. Senators and representatives that were elected will distribute the tickets for the swearing-in ceremony in January. Here are a few tips if you are planning on attending:
- Don’t make travel plans until you get a ticket confirmation.
- Due to crowds, tickets will most likely be for standing room only.
- Children that are old enough to walk must have a ticket.
- Strollers are not allowed in ticketed areas.
- Even if you don’t have a ticket, the majority of people will be viewing the ceremony from the National Mall where a ticket is not required.
