[Photos] RHOA’s Peter Thomas Creates ‘Unscripted’, First Ever Reality TV Show Awards
When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. For the last few years, Atlanta has been the ‘go to’ location to develop, shoot and launch the latest and not so greatest reality TV shows. From Real Housewives of Atlanta, to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, to Big Rich Atlanta, the list of shows are never-ending and for that reason, the powers that be feel that it’s only right to honor their favorite reality stars. This week, theJasmineBrand.com attended the press conference announcing the ‘Unscripted Reality Awards’.
Some of your favorite and controversial ATL reality stars were in attendance–Mimi Faust and Karlie Redd (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) Mariah Huq, Kari Wells, Toya Bush-Harris (Married To Medicine), Nicci Gilbert (R&B Divas) and of course Cythnia Bailey (Real Housewives of Atlanta). What’s more? It appears this isn’t the only reality TV awards show in the works. Last month, Bravo announced that it will launch, “The Real Housewives Awards”. Fans will vote online in categories such as Best Supporting Agitator, Hottest Hubby, Most Coveted Closet, Best Heels, with winners being revealed on via advertisements and on the Andy Cohen hosted ‘ Watch What Happens Live‘. Peep pics from tonight’s press conference below.

The awards show will take place September 14th at the Woodruff Arts Center. P.S. What do you think of an awards show for reality TV stars–dope idea or are you TOTALLY uninterested?
