(EXCLUSIVE) Tracy Morgan Defeats Truck Driver’s Attempt to Stop Legal Battle Over Car Accident
Tracy Morgan scored a huge legal victory in his legal battle over the car accident that left him severely injured, with the truck driver who crashed in the actor’s limo be shut down by a federal court judge in his attempt to stay the lawsuit until his criminal case has been closed, theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports.
Morgan reportedly sued WalMart following the accident in which he was severely injured by a truck driver who worked for the company. The comedian accused the company of allowing their driver Kevin Roper to drive 10 hours straight after being awake for more than 24 hours.
The suit claims Tracy sustained,
severe painful bodily injuries, including but not limited to multiple fractures which required multiple surgeries, extensive medical treatment and will require significant physical rehabilitation.
He is suing for unspecified damages. WalMart responded to the legal battle filed by Morgan months later in court documents. The company denied they acted careless or negligent and blamed Morgan for suffering injuries due to him not wearing a seat belt.
